Record temps as valley nears triple-digit numbers

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3)-- Las Vegas had a record high of 99 degrees today. The morning low was also a record for the day.

News 3's Kevin Janison has more in his forecast.

Mostly clear tonight with lows 66 to 71 with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph.

Look for sunny, breezy skies on Tuesday with highs 92 to 95 on the west side of the valley. 95 to 98 on the east side. South wind 10 to 15 mph shifting to the southwest 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday night looks mostly clear with lows 61 to 66 and a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph shifting to the north 10 to 20 mph after midnight. Gusts up to 30 mph.
