LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Clark County grand jury indicted three people this afternoon in two cases of trafficking of controlled substances.
Natanael Pineda, 25, and Jovan Paramo, 31, each face one count of trafficking in controlled substance and transport of a controlled substance. Bail was denied by Judge Jennifer P. Togliatti pending a source hearing, where attorneys are expected to seek a $100,000 bail. Prosecutors say 6 kilograms of an unidentified drug were involved.
Their next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 11.
Also indicted were:
Alvaro Damian-Chavez, 23, on one count of trafficking in controlled substance and transport of a controlled substance. Prosecutors say 6.7 kilograms of methamphetamine were involved. His next hearing is set for 9 a.m. June 11.
James Dodds, 18, Issiah Martin, 23, and Joe Jackson, on several counts involving burglary and robbery. Jackson was added to the indictment; Dodds and Martin were indicted in April. Bail continues at $300,000 for Martin, $150,000 for Dodds. Their next court appearance is set for 8 a.m. June 16.
