LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for information concerning a shooting near Desert Inn and Durango.
According to a Metro news release, a man was fueling his vehicle at a gas station just before 1 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 3300 block of South Durango Drive when he was approached by a black male adult wearing dark clothing.
The suspect asked the victim what he was looking at, produced a handgun and fired one round, striking the victim. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
The victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to an area hospital, where he was treated and released.
The LVMPD Violent Crimes Section is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals who were in the area just before the shooting. Surveillance cameras from the convenience store captured images of the three patrons detectives are trying to identify.
