Police search for a man pretending to have a gun to rob a business

LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a business in the area of South Rainbow and West Charleston on June 23 at 10:56 p.m.

The suspect entered the business and pretended to be a customer.

When the suspect reach the register, he placed his right hand inside a bag, pretending to have a weapon, and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect was last seen fleeing southwest on foot.

The suspect is described as a back male, 5-foot-11-inches to 6-foot-1, weighing between 190 to 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue button up short sleeve shirt over a black T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and blue deck style shoes with white calf length socks. He was also seen carrying a black drawstring bag.
