LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Las Vegas police are on the lookout for two people who they think may be connected to a weekend shooting in the parking lot of a local hookah lounge.
Police believe a woman and a man were at CEO Hookah Lounge at Flamingo Road and S. Jones Boulevard on Sunday morning. Both ran off after shots were fired.
The man is described as being in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-10-inches and weighing about 200 pounds. He has short, black curly hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black and grey checkered shirt.
The woman is also in her 20s, stands about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 180 pounds.
The woman has a tattoo of a heart with a banner on her upper arm. She is described having long, dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top.
Metro patrol officers on May 11 around 5:30 a.m. went to a parking lot of a business located in the 5900 block of West Flamingo Road to investigate reports of multiple people shot.
Patrol officers located four people suffering gunshot wounds. Those people were transported to the University Medical Center Trauma where one of the victims was later pronounced dead.
According to police, a verbal altercation had taken place between several people inside a lounge located nearby. The involved parties then exited the business where the altercation continued in the parking lot and shots were fired.
