LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A Clark County grand jury this morning indicted the man suspected of opening fire at a casino after-hours club Oct. 21, leading to the death of one patron.
Benjamin Frazier, 42, is accused of shooting and killing Kenneth Brown, 40, and wounding two others when he opened fire at Drai’s Nightclub inside Bally's Hotel and Casino.
Police say Frazier was upset about a $30 cover charge he was unable to retrieve.
Frazier is being held without bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 4.
Also indicted were:
Carlos Lopez-Lauro, 49, and Mario Gamboa-Cruz, 24, on one count each of murder with use of a deadly weapon; robbery with use of a deadly weapon; first-degree kidnapping; conspiracy to commit murder; conspiracy to commit robbery; and conspiracy to commit kidnapping. They are accused of killing Romel Valdovinos on or around July 8, 2010.
Both men are in custody in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Their next court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 13.
Armando Estrada, 37, on one count each of burglary in possession of a firearm; robbery with use of a deadly weapon; and preventing or dissuading a witness from testifying or producing evidence. Bail was reset at $500,000, and his next court appearance is set for 8:30 a.m. Dec. 5.
