LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews.3com) – An inmate at Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp who walked away from his work assignment Friday in Las Vegas was caputured around 4:30 and returned to prison.
Casey Davis, 22, is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, 132 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes. Metro has been notified of his escape.
Davis was assigned to the Nevada Division of Forestry. The crew was working in the Boulder Highway-Flamingo Road area before noon when he walked away.
Davis, who has been incarcerated since Sept. 5, was serving 12 to 30 months for attempted grand larceny. He was scheduled for release in August.
Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp, a minimum-security facility in Indian Springs, houses only minimum custody and work-release offenders, according to NDOC.
