LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected of an armed robbery of a business near Sahara and Durango.

According to the Metro news release, the suspect entered the business around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, approached the counter, pulled a handgun, and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied, and the suspect then fled.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, about 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, with a thin build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow cap with a white logo, blue jeans and a jacket.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
