LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected in a pair of bank robberies.
According to a Metro news release, the first robbery occurred at 12:20 p.m. on Jan. 22 in the area of Lake Mead and Rampart. The second occurred at 11:15 a.m. today in the area of Rainbow and Russell.
In both robberies, the suspect approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The suspect then lifted his sweat shirt to show a gun in his waistband. Upon receiving money, the suspect left.
The suspect is described as a white male, 24 to 26 years old, 6-foot-1 to 6-3, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red Alabama Crimson Tide cap, a dark gray hooded sweat shirt with white, horizontal stripes, blue jeans and sneakers.
