LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for two people of interest in connection to a deadly shooting near Wednesday night near West Cheyenne Avenue and North Rancho Drive.
The people were seen in a convenience store near the intersection of Rancho Drive and Michael Way a few moments before the homicide occurred.
The first person of interest is a black male adult in his 20s standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-10 with a medium build and muscular arms. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top with a red and white symbol and white lettering, dark-colored shorts and white tennis shoes.
The second person of interest is a black male adult in his 20s between 5-8 and 5-10 with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black tank top with a red symbol and white writing, long white shorts, white socks and black sandals.
The suspect vehicle has further been described as a possible Chevy Monte Carlo with a rear spoiler and a sunroof.
Around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, Metro officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 3300 block of North Michael Way to investigate a report of possible shots fired and a subject down on the ground.
Arriving officers located an adult male on the sidewalk near the entrance to the complex who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the UMC Trauma Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
