Suspect sought in Las Vegas robbery, attempted robbery

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected in a robbery of one business and an attempt on another.

According to a Metro news release, the attempted robbery occurred about 2:25 p.m. Sunday in the area of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Charleston. In that event, he entered a business, simulated having a firearm and demanded merchandise. The employee did not comply, and the suspect fled empty-handed.

The second event was a robbery committed just before 3 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Rancho and Alexander. The suspect entered a business, demanded money and fled once receiving it. He again simulated having a firearm in his pocket.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, 5-foot-8 to 6-3 tall, weighing approximately 150 to 170 pounds with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie under a black jacket and blue jeans.
