Suspect sought in string of purse robberies in northwest

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man suspected in a string of purse snatch/robberies within the northwest area.

The suspect targets women in various parking lots of retail/grocery stores as well as casinos. In one incident, a woman was injured as the suspect ripped her wallet from her hands.

In another, the suspect entered a grocery store within the area of Centennial Hills and Ann Road. The suspect exited the business and approached the victim in the parking lot at which time he robbed her of her wallet. The suspect then ran and entered the pictured vehicle which then sped off.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was driving a small, four-door silver/gray sedan.
