LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Five Clark County School District officials are on administrative leave today involving the ongoing investigation into possible misuse of public funds in the district’s Adult English Language Acquisition Services Department.

Seventeen other staffers have been reassigned as the department has suspended classes.

Clark County School District Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky made the announcement at a news conference today. Metro Capt. Brett Primas and CCSD School Police Chief Jim Ketsaa also attended the news conference.

The Adult English Language Acquisition Services Department provides non- and limited-English speaking adults with workplace and life skills.

The School District announced March 19 that it had received a complaint about the possible misuse of funds in December and asked Metro to assist in the investigation.
