LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- A newlywed couple says a valet at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa is responsible for the theft of their home on the night of their wedding.

Jake and Erin Solis say the valet took their garage opener and a key from their car. They say the valet gave the items to burglars, who then entered the home and took laptops, iPads and personal items such as a birth certificate and social security numbers.

The wedding happened in June. The Solis’ says that after six months of unsuccessful negotiations with the resort, they're just ready to tell their story.

JW Marriott officials did not comment.

Metro says officers are investigating. They say they're looking at the possibility that the suspects in the Solis case may also be -- or be connected to -- Keith Costa and Christin Fischer.

Police say Costa and Fischer are wanted for as many as 60 felonies in the Las Vegas valley.
