Man accused in fatal bus stop crash takes guilty plea

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The man accused in a crash at a bus stop that killed four people accepted a plea agreement from the Clark County district attorney's office.

Gary Lee Hosey Jr., 24, pleaded guilty to five felony DUI counts for the Sept. 13, 2012, crash at Spring Mountain and Decatur.

Police say Hosey was speeding upward of 100 mph when he lost control of his black Chevy Monte Carlo and barrel-rolled right over a bus stop.

Hosey could face as much as 80 years in prison, serving at least 24 years behind bars, according to Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson.

Sentencing has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 1.
