LAS VEGAS (Las Vegas Sun) -- A motorist was shot dead this afternoon while traveling down a busy intersection with his two young children.
Metro Police Lt. Mark Reddon said the man was shot at 5:17 p.m. near Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard, where he lost control of his car and went careening into other vehicles and caused a three-vehicle wreck. His children, ages 2 and 3, were unharmed.
Though police have not yet determined a motive in the shooting, evidence suggests it might have been the result of road rage, Reddon said.
Investigators have not identified a suspect. No other injuries were reported.
