LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- According to Metro, a standoff ended with a shooting suspect in custody Wednesday evening.

Metro and SWAT units were at the scene of a shooting suspect barricaded inside an apartment near the 400 block of Twain near Swenson.

Metro is not sure if the suspect was randomly shooting in the area or if they were shooting at police vehicles.

This began as a burglary call at an apartment complex just before 6 p.m. The standoff ended just after 10:30 p.m.

Metro police believe the people inside the apartment at the time made it out. However the suspect stayed inside the apartment.
