NORTH LAS VEGAS -- A church becomes a crime scene as a suspected drunk driver plows in to a group of people near Lake Mead Boulevard and Losee.
Seven of the eight people injured late Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident have been released from the hospital.
In addition, the name of the driver has been released by the North Las Vegas police department. Nyakueth D. Tear, 18, of Utah was identified as the driver.
Police said the accident happened about 11:03 p.m. in front of Iglesia De Cristo (Church of Christ), 1931 Losee Rd.
A 54-year-old male remains in critical condition at UMC. A pregnant 35-year-old woman was treated and released as were four men and two other women.

The surveillance cameras on a mechanic's shop were rolling last night when the accident happened.

The eight people are hit by an 18-year-old female driver police suspect of being high.

Others panicked and you hear over and over someone telling one of the victims not to move.
About a minute after the accident the driver takes off.
The video shows police officers arrive within minutes of the accident and head down the street looking for the suspect.
The 18-year-old is quickly arrested.
She's facing eight counts of felony hit and run as well gross misdemeanors for not stopping to help and one count of obstructing.
