LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Two people suffered unspecified injuries shortly after noon Saturday when a tanker truck and two sedans collided on northbound Interstate 15 near Charleston Boulevard.
"Two were taken to UMC but we don't know the extend of their injuries," Nevada Highway Patrol Sgt. Kevin Honea told News 3. "The tanker had liquid latex and we're not sure yet of any spill."
A Saturn sustained the most damage in the accident when it hit the tanker's midsection. A Volkswagen also sustained minor damage.
Traffic was blocked in at least three travel lanes during the investigation that lasted more than two hours.
Honea said tow trucks arrived shortly before 3 p.m. to remove the vehicles. Nevada Department of Transportation crews were doing final cleanup as of 3 p.m.
