LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a fatal motorcycle accident early Saturday on Summerlin Parkway.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said a 26-year-old woman was killed abut 2 a.m. when a motorcycle traveling east on Summerlin Parkway struck the Buffalo exit sign.
The driver was taken to UMC in critical condition. Medical personnel pronounced the passenger dead at the scene.
The identity of the woman as well as the cause of death will be released by the Clark County coroner's office once next of kin have been notified.
