LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- A teenage girl missing since Friday has been found safe in Las Vegas.

Dave Cummings of Red Rock Search & Rescue says a friend brought Kearstin Ellis, 15, to Metro this morning. Metro confirmed that Ellis was with Child Protective Services staffers and being interviewed.

Kearstin was last seen by her parents Friday at Desert Pines High School.

Jim Ellis, Kearstin’s father, says she is bipolar and needed to be on medication.

The Red Rock Search & Rescue Team members had looked for Kearstin on foot and bike Sunday in a 15-mile radius from the Bonanza and Lamb area.
