Street sweeper stabbed near Charleston, 28th Street

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – A man stabbed this morning in a parking lot near downtown Las Vegas is improving, according to Metro.

Metro Officer Miguel Garcia says a sweeper was driving his vehicle through a Lowe’s parking lot near Charleston and 28th Street just after 12:15 a.m. when he was approached by a man who stabbed him several times in the abdomen and took his wallet.

The victim was transported to UMC Trauma with critical injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s.
